Love performing? Want to be in a show on Filwood Broadway?

Sign up for the Filwood on Broadway Summer School and create a show with Filwood in Motion artists Linzy Na Nakorn and Rachael Clerke.

For any children who are aged 8 to 14 who are interested in dance, music and drama (no previous experience needed).

Summer School: 30th & 31st July
Times: 10am - 3:30pm
Cost: Free for young people who live or study in BS4, BS3 5, BS13 & BS14.
Free lunch provided!
Where? School of Christ the King Primary, Hartcliffe Road, BS4 1HD.

Performance day: Saturday 9th August
Rehearsal 11am - 1pm, Performance from 4pm
Cost: Free including dinner!

We’re back! Thursday drop-ins start again tomorrow, Thursday 3rd July after school from 3.30-5.30pm and continue throughout July. Join us to hear about how to get involved with our big show & dinner event in August, and make costumes, props, set pieces and more. Sessions on 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st July will be run by guest artist Isabelle Sallis with support from Linzy, Rachael & Jazz.

Join us for our community Junket and newspaper launch at 5pm on Thursday 29th May.

Artists Linzy Na Nakorn and Rachael Clerke have been working with residents of Filwood Broadway and surrounding area to make a newspaper that reflects the area.

We would love to include your writing, articles, short stories, poems, histories, images, artworks, illustrations, and memories of the area in our paper.

The final paper will be launched at our Press Junket on the 29th May at 5pm, where you will get to have a copy of the final work and take part in our press conference.
